“Every Fifteen Minutes” Event 2010
To increase student awareness of the dangers of drunk driving, May 25th and 26th 2010 the Foundation will be joining Beverly High, the Maple Counseling Center, the Beverly Hills Police and Fire Departments and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to present a two-day program called “Every Fifteen Minutes.”
This emotionally impactful presentation will involve BHHS students, dramatizing the often lethal consequences of drinking and driving. We hope that this is one lesson they will learn and will never forget – and pass that knowledge along to people of all ages.

2009 Vahagn Setian Charitable Foundation Special Event
The 2009 event was a great success. On May 3rd 2009, the students, teachers and the parents of Beverly Hills High School put on an incredible evening of events which included special guests musical performances by: Jessarae, Carolina Liar and Derek Bentley.
The evening was filled with the excitement of a live auction and fashion show, with the return of our professional auctioneer Tony Magnemi; designers Linda Stokes (TUTU CUTE) and Sterling for AFAR. Joining us for the first time Claire’s Collection, WeWe and KNOTTY By Rachel Feinberg (student of BHHS).
The Foundation presented for the first time the “Responsible Artist Award” (RAA), which gives recognition to artists that live an exemplary life stile and act as a role model for our young generation. In today’s tabloid-filled media world that seems to focus on the wrongdoings of today’s stars, we feel it is appropriate to recognize artists that truly set a good example for our youth. Mayor of Beverly Hills, Honorable Nancy Krasne presented the 2009 RAA to Carolina Liar.
The evening also included a special video clip of Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice, addressing the issues of drunk driving in our society.
M.C.s’ for the evening were Ryhon Nicole Brown, Denzel Whitaker and Kimberly Caldwell.
