7TH ANNUAL VAHAGN SETIAN MEMORIAL 5K RUN / WALK

Sunday, December 3rd, 2018

Please join us, bring your whole family, your friends, and invite guests. With your support we can continue Foundation’s important work.

Members of the Beverly Hills Police Department’s Baker to Vegas Relay Team and the Vahagn Setian Charitable Foundation (VSCF) would like to invite you to participate in the 7th Annual Vahagn Setian Memorial 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, December 3rd. This event commemorates the young life of a wonderful community member that was tragically cut short by a drunk driver. 5K Run/Walk symbolizes healthy life choices, ethical decision-making and a strong relationship between the Beverly Hills Police Department and our local community.

In person registration begins at 7:30AM in the lower section of the Police Department’s outdoor boat court, located adjacent to the parking structure off of Rexford Dr., south of N. Santa Monica Blvd. The first two hours are free. The run will take place at 8:30 AM at the Northeast corner of Rexford Dr. and N. Santa Monica Blvd.

The run consists of a 5K course, professionally managed by “Pacific Coast Race Timing” Company and organized and monitored by a race team committee with exceptional prizes for the winners of each division donated by our generous sponsors such as Leon’s Fine Jewelry of Beverly Hills, Stefano Ricci, Porsche Design, Petrossian Caviar of Paris, Carroll & Co. and many more. This makes the run very competitive. After the 5K Run/Walk, you can enjoy soothing tunes from a Live Jazz Band and enjoy the awards ceremony.

This event reinforces the Foundation’s commitment to a number of positive social values. Together with our Police, City and School system we will:

  • Celebrate the life of a young Beverly Hills resident of great potential, who brought much joy to many hearts. We owe it to our residents to remember such people whom our community has lost.
  • Reinforces our commitment to wise decision-making; and our opposition to unsafe behavior such as drunk driving, or distractions such as texting while driving.
  • Brings residents, local businesses and police together in a display of solidarity for the social values that we appreciate and respect in Beverly Hills.
  • Promote teamwork, physical fitness, and selflessness.

All donations go directly to the Vahagn Setian Charitable Foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and is also classified as a public charity 509(a)(1). All contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible.
